Dear Friends and Family,                                                      January 21, 2010

The earthquake that recently struck Haiti has touched all of us in one way or another. Our trips to the Dominican Republic make us keenly aware of just what a tragedy this must be.

In response to this tragedy, the orphanage in the Dominican Republic that SHARE USA assists will be receiving between 15 and 20 Haitian children into the Casa Monte Plata Orphanage.

Casa Monte Plata currently has three homes completed and a fourth home that needs to be completed. SHARE USA would like to provide financial support to complete the fourth house to accomadate the orphans from Haiti. The cost of doing this is approximately $25,000.

If your have been moved by the tragedy in Haiti and are wondering how you can help, please consider a donation to SHARE USA. Please indicate that you would like it to be used to finish the fourth orphanage house, and we will be sure to use it in that fashion.

As always, thanks for your generous support of SHARE USA.

Sincerely,
Alice & Ron Pearce

Welcome to SHARE USA, Inc. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) community based organization established in June of 2000 for the purpose of helping those who are in need of medical or financial aid and who do not have other sufficient resources available to them.

Share USA is helping families in our local communities.
We have been able to assist a variety of local people suffering from serious illnesses, as well as others who were in severe financial straits. This is an opportunity for each of us to make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

The organization also provides financial and educational support to the Eva M. Russell School and the Casa Monte Plata Orphanage, both of which are located in the impoverished town of Monte Plata in the Dominican Republic.

The Eva M. Russell School provides an education and two meals a day to approximately 200 kindergarten through eighth grade students.

The Casa Monte Plata orphanage currently provides a home for eighteen children with the goal of ultimately providing for forty. Both facilities are funded completely by private donations.
